2025 AFCONQ: Rwanda hits camp for Libya and Nigeria clash

The Amavubi of Rwanda resumed their preparations yesterday in Kigali for their crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Coach Torsten Spittler had earlier called up 36 players for the significant doubleheader, with a match against Libya on September 7th and Nigeria on September 10th.

The team began their training session under the guidance of the German coach at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.

Before facing Nigeria, the Amavubi will face Libya away from home on the 7th  of September and play Eagles on the 10th the same month.

Rwanda also have a 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against the Super Eagles in March next year.
