2026 WCQ: Chelle unveils Super Eagles starting XI for Zimbabwe clash in Uyo

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has announced an unchanged starting XI for Tuesday’s 2026 World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe.

Chelle, who managed his first game last Friday against Rwanda, saw Victor Osimhen net a brace to boost Nigeria’s chances of qualifying for the tournament.

Chelle has again stuck with the quartet of Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Simon Moses and Samuel Chukwueze in attack.

In midfield, Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi will continue, just like Stanley Nwabali in goal.

Ola Aina, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey and captain William Troost-Ekong will man the defence.

Kick off is 5pm WAT.

Super Eagles XI vs Zimbabwe:

Nwabali; Aina, Ekong, Bassey, Osayi; Ndidi, Iwobi, Chukwueze, Simon; Lookman, Osimhen.
