Zimbabwe arrive in Uyo

The Zimbabwe national team players and officials have arrived in Nigeria ahead of Tuesday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Their delegation landed at Victor Attah International Airport, where they were received by representatives of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Zimbabwe currently sit at the bottom of Group C with three points from five matches.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles returned to Nigeria earlier in the day after securing a 2-0 victory in Rwanda on Friday.

Eric Chelle’s squad has checked into the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Ikot Ekpene, where they will be staying.

The team is scheduled to train on Sunday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium’s practice pitch in Uyo.
