21 CHAN Eagles train in Ikenne

The CHAN Eagles on Monday began intensive preparations in Ikenne, Ogun State, ahead of the 2024 CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN), which will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda in East Africa.

According to Super Eagles media officer, Promise Efoghe, 21 players took part in the team’s first training session, which commenced under floodlights at 7 p.m. He also confirmed that 14 more invited players are expected to join the squad today.

Nigeria has been placed in a challenging Group D alongside defending champions Senegal, as well as Congo and Sudan.
