3RD VICTOR IKPEBA FOOTBALL CHALLENGE REACHES FINALS

The fonals of the third edition of the Victor Ikpeba Football Challenge will be played today at the Chevron Cooperative Pitch, Effurum, Warri, Delta State.

The grand finale will start with the Loosers final in the Under-13 categiry, as Valencia take on Golden Friends at 2pm.

This will be followed immediately by the Under-17 category Third Place match at 2.45pm. This game would see
Golden Friends FC go to battle against Lord Mark AC at same venue.

The grand final game in the Under-13 category will afterwards take the centre stage with Successful Pillars Fc confronting Great Star at 3:20pm.

The sponsor of the event, the 1997 African Footballer of the Year and 1996 Olympic gold medalist will take to the pitch himself, when he leads his friends and former teammates in his active days called Ikpeba and Friends in a Celebrity Charity Game against Chevron Allstars team, Warri.

Kick-off of this Ikpeba Charity Game has been fixed for 3.45pm.

This will be followed by the final match in the Under-17 category which kicks off at 4.30pm. This would see Ichofe Wanderers FC battle for supremacy to grab the main tournament title against Successful Pillars.

The eventual champion will go home with a cash prize of N250,000, a gold trophy and gold medals. While the second place team gets a cash prize of N125,000, a silver cup and silver medals.

The third place team will go home with a cash prize of N100,000, and the fourth place team a consolation prize of N75,000.
