5 Days to Go! Osimhen Leads 5 Super Eagles Stars, Others to Abuja for Charity Champions Cup

With just five days until the Charity Champions Cup game in Abuja, Africa’s Player of the Year, Victor Osimhen is set to lead other superstars to the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja for the most anticipated charity game in Nigeria.

Stars including Samuel Chukwueze, Wilfred Ndidi, Stanley Nwabali, Kelechi Iheanacho are set to thrill fans, as ex internationals, both from home and abroad are set to grace the green on June 15th in the nation’s capital.

The Founder of Attom Foundation, Yahaya Attom has stated that the Charity Champions Cup aims to raise awareness and provide medical assistance to approximately 10,000 individuals in need. Attom Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to humanitarian causes, announced the upcoming Charity Champions Cup, scheduled to take place on June 15th in Abuja.

Renowned legends such as Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto’o, and many others are set to participate, adding to the excitement of the event.

Yahaya Attom expressed the mission behind the Charity Champions Cup, stating, “Our aim is to help the less privileged and provide medical assistance, particularly in rural areas. Through this charity game, we hope to raise funds to support our mission of treating 10,000 people in need during this period.”

The inspiration behind the charity game stems from the desire to utilize football as a means of bringing communities together. “Football has a unique ability to unite people from all walks of life,” said Yahaya Attom. “By hosting this cup, we aim to harness the power of football to support those in need.”

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi shared his excitement about the participation of football legends and influencers in the Charity Champions Cup. “It’s inspiring to see players like Drogba and Osimhen joining forces with influencers to raise awareness for such an important cause,” Ndidi remarked. “This event not only creates awareness but also encourages people to take action and support those facing challenges.”

Yahaya Attom expressed his commitment to continuing this impactful project on an annual basis. “Many footballers and influencers are passionate about providing assistance,” he stated. “We envision making this an annual event, particularly during the summer or free window, to continue making a difference in the lives of those in need.”

The Charity Champions Cup promises to be a thrilling event that combines the excitement of football with the noble cause of supporting communities in need. Attom Foundation invites individuals and organizations to join hands in making a positive impact through this initiative.
