Abia Warriors, a team in the Nigeria Premier Football League, have emerged as frontrunners in the competition to secure the services of defender Emmanuel Ogbuagu.
According to reports, Ogbuagu is also being courted by other clubs such as Shooting Stars, Enyimba, Katsina United, and Plateau United.
Sources indicate that Abia Warriors have expressed substantial interest in signing Ogbuagu.

The defender opted not to extend his contract with Sunshine Stars, despite having scored two goals for the team during the previous season.
The deal to bring Ogbuagu to Abia Warriors is expected to be finalized before the week concludes.
