Four top teams have been sweating it out at the ongoing Abigol football management and coaching scouting program since on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the Legacy Pitch, Surulere, Lagos.
The event, which has been going seamlessly according to plans, has Power of De Cross FA, Ojodu City FC, Lekki United and Ablaze FC all battling for supremacy and glory.
Match Day one, produced some breath-taking, interesting actions mixed with intriguing upsets, as Power of De Cross fell by the sword 1-0 in the hands of Lekki United, while hot blazing Ojodu United pummeled Ablaze FC 4-0, to round off hostilities for the day.
Meanwhile, actions will resume Thursday all through to Friday when the curtains will be drawn in the 3-day program as the scouts from Italy finalize their selection process to announce those players that made the cut, and subsequently will be on the plane to Italy for a new chapter or lease in their football career.
Power of De Cross will be looking to secure their first win or point today as they face Ablaze FC with no win or point either, while Ojodu City FC and Lekki United will clash in the second match of the day at the same venue at 11.am.
