Abula Kinsman Looks To Follow Buffon’s Footsteps

He is young and courageous. His name: Kinsman Menidin Abula. He’s a goalkeeper that looks and wishes to follow in the enviable footprints of his mentor and idol, Gianluigi  Buffon, Italy’s and Juventus iconic goalkeeper.

Though still in his formative years as a goalkeeper, Abula said he is not deterred in any way as he is determined to go the full hug like Buffon.

“Goalkeeping is a way of life for me, it comes naturally. I don’t fake it.

“It’s my passion and it’s what I have chosen to do. Buffon has always been my role model right from when I was a kid. I love him so much and I wish to follow his footsteps.

“I know it’s not going to be easy but I am determined and hungry for success”, he said.

The former Dannaz FC and B.E Arena safehands is already showing glimpses of what a trojan he can become when he comes in between the sticks.

His ex-coach, Uba Daniel Freeman once described him as “one for the future”, and so far he hasn’t disappointed as he keeps living the dream.

He has an uncommon ball playing ability that stands him out as a modern day goalkeeper, and an ability to organize his defense at all times which is key for an aspiring top goalkeeper.
