Adeboye Assures Super Eagles Coach, Chelle Of Full Support From President Tinubu

Senior special assistant on grassroots sports development to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, has confidently told Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle that he has the full backing and support of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for him to succeed in his job as Super Eagles gaffer.

Adeboye made this assertion recently when Chelle paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja to discuss ways and measures for him to take the Eagles to the desired destination and also qualify the eagles to the world Cup in 2026.

The renowned sports administrator was quick to let Chelle know that he is in the right place and that all he needed to succeed and excel in his job would be made available for him by our wonderful president, who is a sports loving and listening father.

“I want to thank our coach, Chelle, for the visit, and I want to assure him that the president is fully in support of him to succeed in his endeavours with the Super Eagles, the first assignment is the world Cup qualifiers this month and the president has put in place everything for him to go smoothly to ensure that the Eagles qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup”, he said.

“We the stakeholders in sports are consciously and genuinely doing everything humanly possible to make sure the Super Eagles gets a ticket to the world Cup, such visit by the coach is truly commendable and it shows the coach really knows his job and what to do to get his job done,” he added.

“The world Cup is very important to Nigerians, and we must give our best to get the ticket, as the special assistant to the president, I and the sports commission will do our best to make sure we help the coach take the Eagles to the desired promise land”, he concluded.

It would be recalled that Super Eagles Coach, Eric Chelle, visited the special assistant on grassroots sports development to President Tinubu, Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka to map out plans for the Super Eagles to success.
