Adukwu aims for CAF Women’s Champions League with Edo Queens

Date:

The head coach of Nigeria Women’s Football League champions Edo Queens, Moses Adukwu, is focused on the Women’s CAF Champions League this year.

Adukwu guided Edo Queens to the regional title in Côte d’Ivoire, securing their spot in the playoff round of the competition.

The team has commenced preparations for the competition and the former Nigeria’s Junior International says his sight is focused on the trophy.

“We aim for nothing less than lifting the trophy; that is our desire. We know it won’t be easy, but we are focused on taking it one game at a time,” Adukwu added.

“Having reached this stage, we certainly don’t want to come back empty-handed. Our preparations have already started since the day we qualified.”
