AFCON 2023: Adebayor visits Super Eagles players after win over Angola [VIDEO]

Former Manchester City and Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor visited the Super Eagles players in the dressing room to congratulate them after their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinal 1-0 win over Angola on Friday.

The former Togolese international interacted with the likes of Kenneth Omeruo and Paul Onuachu.

A first-half goal from Ademola Lookman gave Jose Peseiro’s men all three points against Angola.

Moses Simon, who won the Man of the Match award, gave Lookman the assist.

Adebayor had tipped Nigeria to win the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast.

The former Tottenham and Real Madrid star had said, “I’m rooting for the Super Eagles to win the trophy.”
