Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro is expected to ring the changes in his starting line-up for the side’s Group A clash against hosts Cote d’Ivoire.
Southampton’s Joe Aribo is expected to replace injured Alhassan Yusuf in midfield.
Yusuf, who plays for Belgian Pro League champions Royal Antwerp, sustained a thigh injury in Nigeria’s first game against Equatorial Guinea and is ruled out of the tie against the Elephants.
Peseiro could also alter things further in midfield following the impressive form of Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho in training.

The 27-year-old could replace Alex Iwobi against Jean Louis Gasset’s side.
Winger Moses Simon also struggled against Equatorial Guinea and could also be dropped to the bench for the game against Cote d’Ivoire.
The encounter will hold at the Alassanne Ouattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan, on Thursday.
