Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah will be out of action for 28 days.
Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas made this known on Monday.
The Liverpool ace sustained a hamstring injury during Egypt’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, 2-2 draw with Ghana.
Salah had since left the Egypt national team squad in Ivory Coast to continue his recovery in Liverpool.

“The injury is more serious than first thought. He will be out for 21-28 days,” Fabrizio Romano quoted Abbas as saying.
“His best chance at participating in the current AFCON is by undergoing intensive rehabilitation in the UK and rejoining the team as soon as he is fit.”
