AFCON 2023: Super Eagles depart Abu Dhabi, hit Abidjan Wednesday

The Super Eagles have departed their training base in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for Lagos

The players and their officials will be hosted to a send forth dinner by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday evening.

The Eagles spent around one week in Abu Dhabi perfecting strategies for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Jose Peseiro’s side engaged in two friendlies while in camp.

They whitewashed local club, Al Gharib 12-0 and lost 2-0 to the Syli Stars of Guinea.

The contingent will depart for Abidjan on Wednesday.

The team will be lodged at the Pullman Hotel, Abidjan.
