AFCON 2023: Troost-Ekong attracting interest from Saudi clubs

Super Eagles captain, William Troost-Ekong, is attracting interest from Saudi clubs due to his impressive display for Nigeria at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Ivory Coast.

This was disclosed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a tweet on his X account on Friday.

Troost-Ekong currently plays for PAOK in the Greek Super League.

“Nigeria captain William Troost-Ekong caught the attention of clubs in Saudi due to his impressive performances in the AFCON,” Romano tweeted.

“He’s been leading PAOK to top of Greek Super League and Europe Conference League, he’s very happy there — but the Saudi interest for summer is strong.”
