AFCON 2025: Full list of final 24 qualified countries

The lineup for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is now complete, with Mozambique securing the final spot after a 2-1 victory over Guinea-Bissau.

Set to begin in December 2025, the tournament will be hosted by Morocco, who automatically qualify as the host nation.

This AFCON will showcase a thrilling mix of traditional powerhouses and rising teams, all eager to leave their mark on the continent’s biggest football stage.

Among the 24 nations are former champions such as Senegal, Algeria, Egypt, and defending title holders Côte d’Ivoire, all of whom impressed in the qualifiers.

Other legendary teams like Nigeria, Tunisia, and South Africa have also secured their spots, ensuring the tournament will feature some of Africa’s most iconic footballing nations.

The competition will also see the return of teams like DR Congo, Angola, and Gabon, while Botswana makes a long-awaited return after a 12-year absence.
