AFCON 2025 qualifier: Super Eagles depart for Kigali ahead of Amavubi clash

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have traveled to Kigali for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Amavubi of Rwanda on Tuesday.

The team, including players and officials, departed from Victor Attah Airport in Uyo on Sunday afternoon.

In preparation for the match, the Super Eagles have scheduled two training sessions in Kigali before facing the host team.

The West Africans began their campaign with a convincing 3-0 win over the Cheetahs of Benin Republic on Saturday.

The three-time African champions will take on the Amavubi at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Tuesday.

In their opening match, Rwanda secured a 1-1 draw against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya in Tripoli.
