Super Eagles caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen, has unveiled his 23-man squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying doubleheader against the Mediterranean Knights.
Notably, Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen and Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah were left out of the selection due to injury.
Captain William Troost-Ekong, Wilfred Ndidi, Stanley Nwabali, Moses Simon and Alex Iwobi are some of the regulars who were included by Eguavoen.
The Super Eagles will host the Mediterranean Knights at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Friday, October 11, before flying to Benghazi to take on the Knights at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium, 19 kilometres away from Benghazi, on Tuesday, October 15.
All the players are expected to report in Uyo on Monday, October 7.
