The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the schedule for the qualifiers leading up to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles, will kick off their campaign at home against Benin Republic. Managed by former Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr, the Benin team is set to face a tough challenge.
Following their opener, the Super Eagles will head to Kigali to take on Rwanda’s Amavubi in their second match of the qualifiers. Both fixtures are slated for September.

In October, Nigeria will engage in a double-header against Libya’s Mediterranean Knights. The Super Eagles will then conclude their qualifying journey with an away game against Benin and a home match against Rwanda in November.
The top two teams from the group will secure berths in the AFCON 2025 finals, scheduled to be hosted by Morocco.
