AFCON A Good Decision for me — Chukwueze

Super Eagles and Verereall forward Samuel Chukwueze has said his club decision to allow him play in the forth coming African Football Cup of Nation is a good decision for him.

Chukwueze told SportsDay before team departure to Egypt on Sunday that he is very happy to be part of the 23 players to represent Nigeria in AFCON 2019 scheduled to kick of June 21.

According to him, “What can I say, first I think my club made a good choice for allowing me to play only in AFCON. But I would have love to play both in Under 20 World Cup and African Cup of nation as well,” he said.

Speaking on the up coming tournament properly, Chukwueze maintained that Super Eagles will return the African trophy to Nigeria.

“We are going to Egypt for represent our country with so much love and respect. I am only asking my fans to continue praying and given all their support till the end competition,” Chukwueze added.
