Super Eagles interim manager Austin Eguavoen has cautioned winger Samuel Chukwueze to be mindful of where he attempts to dribble ahead of Nigeria’s upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Libya.
Speaking before the match on Friday, Eguavoen specifically urged the AC Milan star to make smart decisions on the field, particularly regarding his dribbling choices.
“You can imagine Chukwueze coming to defence to help, he gets the ball, what does he do, not dribble,” Eguavoen told NFF TV.

“We know how good he is when he has to dribble but he should know where to dribble, he should know where not to dribble.
“If he comes in he has to do his defensive duty. It is a responsibility but he knows what to do, so these are things we go through every now and then.”
Eguavoen’s side will face Libya at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Friday, October 11.
They will then meet the North Africans again in the return leg on Tuesday, October 15, at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium in Benghazi.
