AFCON2021: Ndah likely to Pairs Omeruo against Guinea Bissau

Date:

It is no more news that defender Chidozie Awaziem may likely not play a match in the ongoing African Cup of Nation due Ankle injury sustained during one of their training.

To this effect, the only defender who is likely to pair with CD Leganes iron man Kenneth Omeruo is Orlando Pirates player Olisa Ndah.

SportsDayonline.com gathered from NFF source that “from the look of things i am sure Awaziem will touch ball in this tournament though the medical is yet to ascertain the level of his injury yet.

“Omeruo is wonderful in the defense covering William Troost Ekong mistakes but i believe after Sudan game, the technical head is likely to play Ndah based on his performance so in the team.

“The way Austine Eguaveon pairs them in training shows he is likely to take the space if Ekong is not dressed.
