Date:

Afeez Ibrahim who was on trials for a month at English Premier League giants, Chelsea FC, after some brilliant performances at the Viareggio Cup in Italy, but now in the books of French side, Stade de Reims, is proving too hot to handle for defenders, as he paints France with goals.

The talented young striker has now netted 6 goals in five matches for the B team of the club, making him an instant hit with great prospects of being promoted to the main team come January.

Ibrahim you would recall featured for Ojodu City at the Viareggio Cup which was won by Beyond Limits.

“Afeez has been doing extremely well since he joined Stade de Reims in France.

“He has scored 6 goals in 5 matches for the B team of the French side, says the player’s youth coach.

“I have no doubt that he has done well enough to deserve promotion to the main team in January, he said.

Stade de Reims must be very glad they signed the Nigerian youngster and he has so far not disappointed with his performances. Chelsea’s loss is definitely Reims gain.
