As the Super Eagles prepare for yet another cracker against Palancra Negras of Angola in the quarterfinals of the 34th AFCON in Ivory Coast, Super Falcons no nonsense defender Michell Alozie has keyed into the ‘no gree for anybody slogan’as a ginger for the Jose Peseiro tutored side.
Alozie who was a delight to watch at the last Women world cup in Australia and New Zealand took time to re-tweet a particular pix in which Super Eagles Onyeka and Cameroonian player clashed body to body, strength for strength and eyeball to eyeball in the course of the match that saw Super Eagles run away with a 2-0 win to embrace the quarterfinals in style. The picture had as its caption
Soar Super Eagles @SSE_NGA NO GREE FOR ANYBODY! ????
The Houston Dash ace, who is capable of playing both as defender and forward is no doubt eager like every other Nigerian to see Eagles add to the number of AFCON titles in the kitty after three previous stories recorded in 1980, 1994 and 2013.

Recall that Alozie, who holds a Bachelors Degree in Molecular Biology from Yale University, made her debut for the Super Falcons on 10 June 2021 as a 65th-minute substitution in a 0–1 friendly loss to Jamaica.
On 16 June 2023, she was included in the 23-player Nigerian squad for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She made her FIFA Women’s World Cup debut on 21 July 2023 in a goalless draw against Canada. She also played a vital role in Nigeria’s 3–2 victory over co-hosts Australia 6 days later. Eventually, she played every minute of the tournament for the Super Falcons with Nigeria losing only to England on penalties after a 0–0 draw, in a keenly contested round of 16 tie in Lang Park, Brisbane.
