Record holders Al Ahly will meet Zamalek in all Egyptian final on Sunday after beating CFC 3-0 (25-15, 25-23, 25-21) on Friday.
It was a big match up for the defending champions Ahly taking on their rivals, CFC. AHL took an early lead and dominated for the first set with some strong hitting for a 25-15 win.
Ahly came back fighting in the second set and led in the first proceedings. They showed good structured play and defence, eventually outplayed to win the second set 25-23. Ahly show their versatility and blocking strength to keep CFC from gaining any real in the 3rd set.
AHL launched a passionate display of tactics. They rallied the crowd and fed off their support. It was 7-7 with CFC cruising for a comeback. AHL regrouped to avoid a set and stunned the Tunisians to a 25-21
