Akor Wins Man of the Match in League 1

No doubt, Akor has made a big statement in the Opening Leg of the French League, where he displayed a Man-of-the-Match performance.

He was the brain behind the equalizer of his team, after he was offended in the penalty box, no thanks to the cross bar and good goalkeeping of the opponent, Akor would have registered his name on the scorer sheet on few occasions.

The 24 years Montpellier striker’s attempt to find the back of the net was denied by the opponents goalkeeper, having played for 80 minutes, before he was substituted.

After his transfer from the Lillestrom, in his first season, the former Flying Eagles striker scored eight goals for his club, Montpellier.

Akor is gradually making a big statement for himself ahead of the call up to the Super Eagles.
