Hamdi Akujobi has continued to make front pages of newspapers, magazines and even news headlines of radios with television in Holland following his consistent form this season for Almere City.
The red -hot wing back scored last weekend for his Eredivisie side in their 2-2 away draw against NEC Nijmegen to offer some lifeline to their relegation battle. This is outside the fact that he has made the Team of the Week consecutively in the last two weeks this season.
His commanding performance this weekend against Feyenoord where he struck the wood work for what would have been a cracker of a goal, sure deserves another Team of the Week nomination.

Although, Almere lost the game 2-1 to further compound their woes but Akujobi has done well enough on an individual bases. This has attracted many clubs asking questions regarding a possible move for the player in the coming Summer transfer window.
But Akujobi remains unfazed as he’s focused on how he can help save Almere from going down at the end of the season.
“We will fight to finish, Akujobi said.
“This Feyenoord loss i setback but we won’t allow it get to us, he said”.
