Alex Iwobi was named the player of the match after inspiring Everton to a convincing 3-0 win against Crystal Palace at Goodison Park in a Premier League game on Saturday.

The Super Eagles midfielder who is playing his best football yet at Everton under the tutelage of Frank Lampard continued to show why is one of the best midfielders in the league this season.

Alex Iwobi singlehandedly helped the Toffees end their winless run of three games with the win against Crystal Palace.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored the first goal of the game in the 11th minute of the game, and Alex Iwobi provided the assist for the goal.

Anthony Gordon tapped home from close range following a move that involved most of Everton’s players to increase the lead to 2-0 in the second half.

Substitute Dwight McNeil then completed the 3-0 rout on 84 minutes, playing a one-two with Alex Iwobi, collecting the Nigerian’s lovely backheel and finishing inside the area.

Alex Iwobi provided two assists to help Everton beat Crystal Palace 3-0 and was awarded the player of the match for his role in the victory.

The former Arsenal player also put himself second with five assists on the assist table, with four behind Kevin de Bruyne.
