Algeria boss, Belmadi unveils 24-man squad for Super Eagles friendly

Desert Foxes of Algeria head coach, Djamel Belmadi has named a 24-man squad for his side’s friendly against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Belmadi dropped a number of regulars in the list released on Saturday morning.

First-choice goalkeeper, Rais M’Bohli was axed in favour of Alexandre Oukidja.

In midfield, Nabil Bentaleb return to the team after he was snubbed for years by Belmadi.

There was also a first call-up for Chabab Belouizdad’s Houssem Mrezigue.

Veteran striker, Baghdad Bounedjah was omitted in place of Andy Derlot.

The Desert Foxes will take on the Super Eagles at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium, Oran on Tuesday, September 27.
