Former Chelsea coach Frank Lampard has claimed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta would have been fired had he gone through same condition he went through as Blues manager.
Arteta had no previous coaching experience at the top level until he was given the opportunity to head his former club.
Five years later, Arteta appears to be finding his footing, putting together a team among the best in England.

Lampard emphasized the difficulties that modern managers face when attempting to implement their plans, as well as the limited time they are given to demonstrate their worth in the dugouts.
In a recent interview on the Unfiltered Podcast, Lampard said: “I think Arteta is a great example. Look at the tough times he had.
“He was trying to find a formation and he had to compromise a lot and you lose some games and people don’t trust the process.
“Arteta is a fantastic coach, we are seeing that now, but if he was managing at Chelsea he would not have made it through that period.”
