The athletics events of the ongoing National Sports Festival received a big boost as two American University coaches arrived in Asaba, Delta State for the events.
The duo of Chris Woods and his assistant, Mark Quis from Mississippi State University arrived in Asaba at the invitation of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria( AFN).
They were invited to discover new talents that will be given scholarships to study and train at Mississippi State University.
Chairman of Delta State Athletics Association, Solomon Ogba, who is a former AFN President, welcomed the two American coaches to the state.
