Asking your wife for DNA test should be considered criminal – BBNaija Rachel

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Rachel Edward has shared her opinion on the DNA controversy rocking the country’s social space.

Nigerians on social media have been advocating that DNA tests be made compulsory given the recent cases of paternity fraud.

However, in a reaction on her X handle, Rachel suggested that demanding a DNA test from a spouse should be considered a criminal offence.

According to the reality star, demanding a DNA test showed that the couple does not trust themselves and should not have been married in the first place.

She wrote, “Asking your wife for a DNA test should be a criminal offence. If you don’t trust her, why marry her in the first place?”
