AWCON: Oshoala may miss Nigeria’s clash with Lady Elephants in Abidjan

Captain Asisat Oshoala is likely to be excluded from Super Falcons’ trip to Ivory Coast ahead of African Women’s Championship second leg qualifiers.

The Barcelona player missed the first leg in Abuja on Friday, due to a suspected personal problem.

The striker sparked reactions on social media, following her disturbing tweet hours to the clash against Ivory Coast.

In the now-deleted tweet, Oshoala wrote: “Life is just unfair… I’m tired of trying”.

However, close source has now revealed that, the striker might not included in the traveling party to Abidjan for the second leg of the encounter

The technical crew and the players are expected to leave on Sunday for the deciding clash slated for Wednesday.

The Randy Waldrum girls won the first meeting 2-0 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, thanks to a brace from Ifeoma Onumonu.
