Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has expressed his desire to extend his stay with former Scottish Premier League champions, Rangers.
The experienced defender’s current contract is set to expire at the end of this summer, and so far, the club has not given any clear indication of offering a renewal.
Despite the uncertainty, Balogun has made it clear he would welcome the opportunity to continue at Ibrox.
“I’ve wanted this for ten years—to be a Rangers player—ever since I first walked through the doors,” he said. “Everyone knows how much I love this club. I embrace everything it stands for. It’s really close to my heart, so if I can stay another season, I’d be more than happy.”
