Rangers defender, Leon Balogun, has said he is willing to extend his stay at the Ibrox Stadium.
The Nigerian current contract at the Scottish Premiership club will expire at the end of next month.
The Gers are yet offer the 33-year-old a new contract prompting speculations he could be set to leave the club this summer.
“Everyone who watches me around the club knows I’ve fallen in love with this club,” Balogun was quoted by the Daily Record.
“What I said about getting knocked down and getting back up – that’s something I’ve had in my career.
I’ve had a lot of downs in my career.
“That’s why me and Rangers are a good fit.
“Even in the final, I had to go through this and the support was outstanding.
“I would love to stay. I hope they know that and I hope I can announce something soon.”
Balogun linked up with Rangers in July 2020 on a free transfer.
The centre-back penned a one-year contract with an option for a further year.
