Bang! Bang!! Afeez Ibrahim Nets Brace In France

Date:

New goals sensation, Afeez Ibrahim scored the two goals, one in each half as his team, Stade Reims of France team B defeated Ko VA FC 2-0 on Saturday.

The brace took Ibrahim’s goals tally to 8 goals in 7 matches, which is impressive going by any standard.

The Nigerian striker was in a killer mood as always right from the blast of the referee’s whistle, proving too difficult to handle for the opposing team’s defence.

His efforts yielded dividends when he drew the first blood for his team just before the half time interval to put his side 1-0 up.

As both sides returned after the break, Ibrahim again extended his team’s lead to 2-0 to nail the coffin and put the game beyond the reach of the opponents.

Recall that Ibrahim was on trials for a month at English Premier League side, Chelsea FC, after some eye- catching performances at the Viareggio Cup in Italy, with Ojodu City.

No doubt, with these five star displays, a first team promotion is as certain as the day light for the new goals king in France
