Bankole, Ekeocha, Adepoju Optimistic Of victory Over Abia Comets

Graciously and heavenly gifted right back of smart city fc of Lagos, Afeez Bankole, has said with genuine confidence that, city will take all three points, when both sides clash on Saturday in a week seven of NNL game.

Bankole, who made his first appearance of the season, after an injury layoff, was a delight to watch, as he shone like a million stars to the appreciation of the fans present at the stadium, despite a narrow 3-2 loss to Madiba fc in that game.

Bankole, further said that, his team has swiftly put the defeat behind them and are ready to battle Abia Comets and that they will do everything humanly possible to grab all three points from the game.

“I am so happy to be back in the team, after injury kept me out for awhile, we had a great game against Madiba, despite the loss, our focus now is the game against Abia Comets and I am very confident, we will get all three points from that game, by the grace of God” he said.

Meanwhile, delightful utility winger of City, Chukwudi Ekeocha, who scored two goals against Madiba, is on the same page with his teammate, saying, there is no hiding place for comets, adding that, Abia Comets, will taste the bitter pills of City.

“There’s will be no hiding place for comets, because we are in high spirit for this game, our president, management, fans are solidly behind us, we won’t let them down, by the grace of God” Ekeocha added.

In the same vein, midfield maestro, Ahmed Adepoju, also concurred with his teammates opinions on the game against Abia Comets, saying, the only thing in their minds is the three points at stake in that game.

“We did very well in our last game against Madiba fc, which we narrowly lost, but we have forgotten about that and are ready to vent our anger on Comets and I know victory is sure by the special grace of God” he concluded.

City will lock horns with Abia Comets in an NNL clash this weekend, at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, onikan, Lagos.
