Barcelona insist Dembele must accept massive pay-cut to stay

Ousmane Dembele’s future with Barcelona beyond the end of this season remains unlikely.

Barca sporting director Mateu Alemany is in Morocco this to hold face-to-face talks with Dembele’s management team, including agent Moussa Sissoko.

With his deal to expire in June, Dembele has left the door open to renewing with Barca, though has insisted his current form reflect in the offer.

Spanish journalist Oriol Domenech, however, is reporting the prospect of a breakthrough remains remote.

Domenech has revealed: “Barca is offering around a third or a quarter of what he earns today.”
