Bayelsa United sign Adekunle from Abeokuta Stormers

Nigeria Professional Football League club, Bayelsa United have completed the signing of Sam Adekunle.

Adekunle joined the Restoration Boys from Nigeria National League side, Abeokuta Stormers for an undisclosed fee.

The center-back signed a two-year contract with the Yenagoa-based outfit.

Adekunle led Stormers to the NNL Super Eight playoff in Asaba.

He comes in as a direct replacement for Ebedibiri Endurance who left for Rivers United last month.

He featured in the warm up friendlies for Bayelsa United against Akwa United and Enyimba.
