Beckham’s son dumps football for fashion

Romeo Beckham has reportedly abandoned his Premier League football aspirations to pursue a career in modeling, following in his mother Victoria’s footsteps.

The 22-year-old Brentford FC youth player was initially aiming to follow in his father David’s footballing footsteps but has had a change of heart.

After being offered a new contract in June that would have kept him with Brentford’s B-team, Romeo is said to have declined it in favor of a new career path.

Having joined Brentford last year after stints with Arsenal’s youth setup and his dad’s team, Inter Miami, Romeo Beckham is now reportedly moving into the modeling industry.

He is said to have signed with SAFE Management Paris, marking a shift from the football pitch to the runway.

A source told The Sun: “Romeo has decided to hang up his football boots and devote his time to his fashion career.”

They continued: “He has loved his time at Brentford but needs to focus his attention on fashion, which is where his passion lies.”

And it apparently pays to be related to a mum like Victoria, with the 21-year-old already reportedly lined up to work alongside some of the biggest names in the industry.

The source said: “Romeo has recently signed with a top fashion agent in Paris and has his sights set on working with some massive brands.”
