Belgium: Orban, Boniface miss out on Ebony Boot

Nigerian duo, Gift Orban and Victor Boniface have missed out on the Ebony Boot for the best African player in Belgium.

Genk winger, Mike Tresor, who scored eight goals and registered 23 assists won the award.

Union Saint Gilloise forward, Victor Boniface came second, while Orban took third position.

Aside from their impressive performance in the Belgian Pro League, the duo also excelled in the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Paul Onuachu was the last Nigerian to win the award.

Daniel Amokachi, Victor Ikpeba and Godwin Okpara are the other Nigerians who won the award in the past.
