Belphus Nigeria Limited Donates Sporting Equipment To Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council

CEO Belphus Nigeria Limited, Solomon Elphus yesterday, May 24, 2023 paid a courtesy visit to the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council’s Office.

Smarting from his sojourn abroad, the Ajegunle born business man arrived the county from his London base and wanted to catch a glimpse of the development he has been hearing about in Ajegunle.

“Hon. Ayoola has spoken glowingly about the developmental projects in Ajegunle and I must say, I am amazed with the level of development,” he said

I grew up in Ajegunle, Mission Street to be precise, and I must confess that Ajegunle is taking a new shape.”

Mr. Elphus was taken round the sporting facilities in Ajegunle comprising the Nathaniel Idowu Football Pitch, Oregie; the New Maracana Stadium, Tolu; the Basketball Courts and Five A-Side Pitch at New Road and Abukuru respectively.

He spoke glowingly about the exploits of the Executive Chairman who he said was instrumental to his giving back to his community.

Speaking with the DG Sports, Mr. Elphus talked about his plans to give back to the community by setting up a standard football academy and organizing annual sporting and entertainment activities to take the young ones off the streets.

Receiving the sporting equipment on behalf of the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council, Joy Ekwem thanked Belphus Nigeria Limited for their magnanimity and assured them of the Council’s readiness to work with them in developing sports in Ajeromi-Ifelodun.
