In a bold move that continues to reshape Africa’s online gaming industry, leading iGaming brand, betPawa, has set a new record with its most massive Aviator win to date, a staggering ₦1.6 billion payout shared by a group of winners from Cameroon, Ghana, and Zambia.

The unprecedented win, equivalent to USD 1.1 million, has been confirmed by Spribe, creators of the Aviator game, as the largest group win in a single round of Aviator across the continent.

At the heart of this milestone is Clovis, a player from Cameroon who staked two micro-bets of 150 FCFA and 100 FCFA (less than ₦150 combined) and walked away with 150 million FCFA (₦191 million) a return fueled by record-breaking multipliers of 500,000x and 750,000x.

He wasn’t alone. Godi and Hyacinte, also from Cameroon, each turned a 100 FCFA bet into 75 million FCFA (₦95.4 million). Another player, Jules, earned 86 million FCFA (₦110 million) from dual 100 FCFA bets, while others like Carlos and Mathieu saw small bets balloon into millions.

In Ghana, Prince from Kumasi staked GH¢6.50 (₦800) and hit GH¢2 million (₦238 million) with a multiplier of 307,692x. And from Zambia, Sidney bet just K6 (₦460) to win K3.25 million (₦250 million).

Outside the main trio of countries, wins continue to roll in. In Uganda, a player won UGX 450 million (₦470 million). In Malawi, three separate players turned stakes as low as MWK 161 (₦85) into six-figure dollar wins.

This latest event adds to betPawa’s growing legacy in Africa’s gaming space. In 2023, a Ghanaian player named Fuseini made headlines with a $500,000 Aviator win, still the highest individual payout on the game in Africa.

Speaking at the winners’ celebration event in Accra, Borah Ndanyungu, Head of Local Marketing and CSR at betPawa, said:

“We love big winners. In fact, we’re built for them. With the lowest minimum stakes and the highest max win of $250,000 on Aviator, we’re not just creating moments, we’re building dreams.”

Winners were treated to an elite experience, chauffeur-driven rides, luxury hotel stays, custom gifts, business class flights, and a private jet tour over Ghana. The event was as much a celebration as it was a statement: betPawa rewards BIG, and it rewards right.

Still, the brand says it’s not just about glitz. Partnering with the Gaming Commission of Ghana and a team of financial experts, betPawa is launching a financial empowerment program for winners, offering guidance on smart investments, long-term planning, and responsible financial decisions.

“BIG wins come with BIG responsibilities,” Ndanyungu emphasized. “We want our players to win for life not just for the weekend.”

With a payout structure that offers max wins of ₦400 million per Aviator round and the lowest minimum stakes in the industry, betPawa continues to redefine digital gaming for Africa’s bettors. And with massive wins now a regular occurrence, the platform’s bold vision seems to be flying even higher.
