Birmingham2022: Team Nigeria to Resume Final Camping July 7

In order to ensure adequate preparations for the foth coming CommonWealth Games billed to kick off July 27th in the United Kingdom, Team Nigeria is expeted to resume close and final camping early next month.

Athletes Federation will have their final showcase in Track and field for the All comers athletes holding this weekend in Benin to pick select those who are qualified to represent the Country in the CommonWealth games.

The Coordinator of the Team Nigeria Yusuf Ali to the big event told SportsDay in Benin that, ” Team Nigeria will enter close camping first week on July to make sure we prepare very well for the task ahead.

“Commonwealth games is not a minor competition so we want to make the athletes are ready to flag off in a well and good note. ” he said.

“We have qualified Athletes for the tournament and hopefully team Nigeria will record medals by the end of the Compeition.” Ali said.
