Box 2 Box Maintain 100% Record As UFC League Enter Week 5

Top side, Box 2 Box FC of Surulere maintained a 100% record as the United Football Championship (UFC) league season 2 enter Week 5.

With that, Box 2 Box now lead the rest of the pack on the 16-team league table after five round of matches.

Box 2 Box survived two top fixtures against Dominion Hotspur FC and Glorious Day FA which they triumphed 2-1 and 1-0 respectively to position themselves as the outright favourites to clinch the league.

In other matches played, FC Bethel Sporting defeated R2Finesse by 3-2 in a pulsating encounter while De Elite and L. Mirado shared the spoils at 1-1.

De Pros FC had fallen to the superior power of Lionheart FC on match Week 4 when they were beaten 2-1, but surprisingly were on fire against Goshen stars FC on match Week 5 hammering them by 4-2 to pick their first win and point in the league.

Power of de Cross had earlier lost 2-1 to Goshen Stars in their previous fixture but right their wrong with the same 2-1 win over L. Mirado in their next fixture.

Spartans FC of Agege were 2-1 victors over Starbase FC while in form Jumez FC shockingly slumped to a 1-0 defeat against Lionheart FC.

Meanwhile, more Week 5 matches continues this week in the prestigious league which has been used to scout and market many grassroot players.
