English Premier League side, Brentford FC, reportedly tabled €12million for Super Eagles and Fernerbahce ace
Bright Osayi-Samuel. The Nigerian star who was impressive in Super Eagles second leg Nations cup qualifier against Guinea Bissau, had earlier received offers early this year from premier league sides Bournemouth and Leeds among others.
Due to their loan requirements, his transfer to Bournemouth was unsuccessful. And yet, the Yellow Canaries are only looking for at least €12 million in exchange for their prized right-wing-back.
But, according to Turkish media outet, the Bees have made a €12million offer to acquire the Nigerian’s signature, meeting the price tag imposed on Osayi-Samuel in January.
After helping his side to a 1-0 win against Guinea-Bissau in the second leg, the Super Eagles star has been playing vital parts for Jorge Jesus’s team and has been able to extend that to the Super Eagles team as well.
Despite being a defender, the 25-year-old enjoys helping the offence, and Thomas Frank could use some assistance. Should Fenerbahce choose to let the Nigeria international go it would be a win win situation for the Turkish side who paid only €508k to Queens Park Rangers for the talented defender.
