Brimingham2022: Team Nigeria Fails in 100m men, Women Final

Sule Nasiru defeated Canadian Muhammad Mudassar after a brilliant 3-0 win as he emerged victorious in his first match of the Table Tennis Men’s event in the Para category with Adeyinka Benson has been defeated in the quarterfinals of the Men’s Middleweight Boxing in the 71-75kg by Scotland’s Sam Hickey.

Not great news from the 100m men’s event….no Nigerian made the final. Godson Brume, Favour Ashe and Raymond Ekevwo all failed to qualify.

Duo of Grace Nwokocha and Rosemary Chukwuma who qualified for the final of the 100m women’s event. Both finished second in their heats. The third Team Nigeria athlete, Joy Udo-Gabriel did not make it.”

Both men and women in the 100m failed to pick a medla in the finals last night leaving Kenya and Jamica with choice but gold respectively.
