Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has opened up about his Nigerian heritage in a recent BBC interview.
Born in England to Nigerian parents, the 22-year-old football star emphasized the importance of his Nigerian roots and shared the meaning behind his Yoruba name.

When asked about the significance of his Yoruba name, Saka proudly explained, “It translates to ‘added joy’.”
Reflecting on his name, he added, “I really cherish it. I believe my grandma gave it to me, though I should confirm with my parents to be certain.”
