Victor Boniface has returned to full training at Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen.

Boniface was sidelined for around three months with a groin injury.

The injury forced him to miss the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

Boniface has been working his way back to full recovery in recent weeks.

The 23-year-old was pictured in training with his teammates on Monday.

The Nigeria international is Bayer Leverkusen’s top scorer this season, with 16 goals and eight assists in 23 games across all competitions.

His return to action will be a timely boost for Die Werkself, who are fighting for three titles.

Xabi Alonso’s side, who are unbeaten in all competitions this season, are in the hunt for Bundesliga, DFB Pokal and UEFA Europa League titles.
